Your Topp Source for Heat Transfers

What is the Difference Between Premium Peel and Premium+ Heat Transfers?

We tend to get a ton of questions on what exactly the difference is between our Premium Peel and Premium+ Peel. Below you will see a couple of the biggest difference between the two products.

1.

Flexibility

While Premium Peel is a great product and by far our #1 selling heat transfer. It does have some limitations. If that does happen this is where our Premium+ Peel tends to shine. Due to our Premium Peels higher transfer temps, it can limit the garments best used for this transfer(100% cotton, cotton/poly blends, and 100% polyester are ideal). Premium+ Peel is specifically made for tri-blends and other heat sensitive garments that may include the likes of rayon, nylon, among many others making it the ideal transfer for virtually any type of garment.

2.

Soft Hand and Opacity

Premium+ Peel is a little bit thicker of an ink giving it a better opacity on dark garments(as you can see above). However, while still having a soft hand it’s thickness causes it to stick up from the fibers of the garment a little more giving it a little bit of a thicker feel over the Premium Peel. Our Premium+ Peel has some built in dye-migration blocking properties to help with some of those pesky heat sensitive shirts.

However, while this helps you will still need to add a true sub-blocker to your Premium+ Peel transfers to fully get rid of all of the dye-migration for sublimated apparel designs.

3.

Fine Line Details

With our Premium+ Peel ink being slightly thicker it handles fine line details much better than our Premium Peel. If you have an image with a lot of detail we highly suggest Premium+ Peel. This is why our customer favorite 1-Color Neck/Care Labels our made with out Premium+ Peel ink formula.

We hope these clear up some of your questions. If not, we would love to hear from you and tell you even more about it!
